Abigail Zsiga

Be Still My Soul is an album of classic Hymns. 

We recorded the album in New Haven with a team of some of our best musician friends.  We strove to find a really classic sound - timeless- with Piano, Guitar and String Quartet.   In making the album and especially in the arrangements, I kept in mind a metaphor of a beautiful black dress; that we were couture tailoring the music to Abigail's voice - something classic, yet unusually exquisite, with tiny filigree and details; something beautiful, but that didn't distract from the beauty of her voice.  Clothing and music are similar in that they can express who you are, enhance who you are, or distort who you are.  I love the results that we got with this piece.  HEAR IT HERE
