Max Heath is one of my closest “musical friends”.  He plays on my albums and I play on his.  His music is some of the most interesting I know; hard to pin down style-wise, but somehow familiar to any listener.  Max always seems to know the perfect note, the perfect chord.  He also writes serious music and is finishing up his masters in composition at Wesleyan University.  Resident composer for the Upright Citizens Brigade, equally at home in experimental music, hip-hop, and indie-rock.  A brilliant songwriter.
