In the mid 1990s I began a collaboration with my good friends David Lasala and Jay Miles.  Based on the principle that anything is permissible musically, we explored music together as a trio, using the basic sounds of clean electric guitar, bass and drums.  The album 1&1/2 Years was half composition, half improvisation, which begins with the lyricist reminiscing on the past year-and-a-half of his life while in a hot bath.  The album art references imagery from the death of the Marat.
